WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As a Finance analyst, you will collaborate with a broad set of stakeholders and partner cross-functionally with Demand & Supply Management team and the broader Finance team (both Korea & geography team), to successfully execute deliverables. You will report to Business Planning Finance Director based in Korea and closely work with NMP (Nike Marketplace Partners) Finance Lead, and there will be exposure to Senior Leadership.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Finance analyst to join Nike Korea Finance Planning team! This team is responsible for driving Nike’s financial goals by ensuing sustainable and profitable growth. You will be a critical member of the team and will work closely with teammates across the marketplace to develop financial plans, analyze business opportunities, enhance reports, and manage budgets. Successful Finance analysts are strategic thinkers, problem solvers and effective communicators with strong ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field with emphasis in Finance and/or Accounting
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Strategic Planning, Accounting or Management consulting
- Results-oriented, high-energy self-starter with ability to manage through ambiguity in a dynamic environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen ability to communicate sophisticated concepts to diverse audiences in both Korean and English
- Strong ability to develop high profile, influential and collaborative relationships across teams
- Knowledge of retail and wholesale distribution channels and related financial planning/management activities is preferred
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will also be a critical player in both building and reporting on the current year plan for wholesale strategic partners as well as partnering across functions and geography team to deliver longer term strategic initiatives. You will also be responsible for managing corporate SG&A. Key responsibilities include:
- Partner to drive the financial planning and analysis for wholesale business including annual operating plan, budgeting, and current year performance management.
- Prepare and be responsible for financial reporting to both Korea and geography leadership team on a monthly-quarterly-yearly and ad-hoc basis.
- Lead annual trade terms process and perform financial analysis to guide the long-term implementation of the trade terms ensuring mutual profitability.
- Lead ad-hoc analyses to support decisions around critical initiatives and strategic investments in response to macroeconomic or business environment.
- Streamline processes and tools with respect to business reporting and planning, seeking to improve efficiencies.
- Responsible for SG&A budget management and prepare for monthly status reports to Korea leadership team.
