Artist Instructional Designer, APAC

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-impact training materials, courses, and resources for artists, ensuring content is accessible, relevant, and engaging. Create and maintain comprehensive curricula for skill development and workflow training, utilizing diverse formats such as video tutorials, interactive modules, live workshops, and written documentation.
• Produce and curate visually compelling training assets (e.g., 2D/3D assets, graphics, icons) that meet studio quality standards.
• Partner closely with artists, leads, subject matter experts, and studio leadership to identify skill gaps, gather requirements, and prioritize content development.
• Develop a deep understanding of current production workflows and tools to ensure training aligns with real-world studio practices.
• Adapt and localize training content for the APAC region, considering cultural nuances, language needs, and regional workflows.
• Deliver training sessions in-person and virtually, facilitating workshops and supporting artists in their learning journey.
• Organize and maintain content within the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring materials are easily accessible and up-to-date.
• Develop and implement methods to assess training effectiveness, gather learner feedback, and analyze performance data to refine and enhance learning experiences.
• Stay current with industry tools, trends, and best practices in VFX production, integrating new knowledge and technologies into training offerings.
• Work closely with the Learning & Development Manager to ensure training initiatives align with business goals, artistic standards, and organizational priorities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in instructional design and delivering engaging training sessions, both in-person and online, preferably within the VFX or animation industry.
• Fluency in Korean and English, with excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of the VFX production pipeline and proficiency with industry-standard software (e.g., Maya, Houdini, Nuke, Unreal Engine, Photoshop).Demonstrated ability to create engaging educational content for creative audiences, using a variety of instructional formats.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Consultative, collaborative approach to problem-solving and identifying learning needs.

• 아티스트를 위한 영향력 있는 교육 자료, 과정, 리소스를 설계 및 개발하여, 콘텐츠가 접근 가능하고, 관련성 있으며, 흥미롭게 제공되도록 합니다.
• 스킬 개발 및 워크플로우 교육을 위한 종합적인 커리큘럼을 구축 및 유지하며, 비디오 튜토리얼, 인터랙티브 모듈, 라이브 워크숍, 문서 등 다양한 형식을 활용합니다.
• 스튜디오 품질 기준에 부합하는 시각적으로 매력적인 교육 자료(예: 2D/3D 에셋, 그래픽, 아이콘 등)를 제작 및 선별합니다.
• 아티스트, 리드, 분야별 전문가, 스튜디오 리더십과 긴밀히 협업하여 스킬 격차를 파악하고, 요구사항을 수집하며, 콘텐츠 개발 우선순위를 정합니다.
• 실제 스튜디오 환경과 일치하는 교육을 위해 최신 프로덕션 워크플로우와 도구에 대한 깊은 이해를 개발합니다.

• 온/오프라인 교육 세션을 진행하고 워크숍을 주관하며, 아티스트의 학습 여정을 지원합니다.
• 학습 관리 시스템(LMS) 내에서 콘텐츠를 체계적으로 관리하여 자료의 접근성과 최신성을 유지합니다.
• 교육 효과를 평가할 수 있는 방법을 개발 및 시행하고, 학습자 피드백과 성과 데이터를 수집·분석하여 학습 경험을 개선합니다.
• VFX 프로덕션 관련 최신 업계 도구, 트렌드, 모범 사례를 지속적으로 파악하고, 새로운 지식과 기술을 교육에 반영합니다.

자격

• VFX 또는 애니메이션 업계에서의 경력이 우대되며, 대면 및 온라인 모두에서 흥미로운 교육 세션을 설계하고 진행한 3년 이상의 경험이 있습니다.
• 한국어와 영어에 모두 능통하며, 뛰어난 구두 및 문서 커뮤니케이션 능력을 보유하고 있습니다.
• VFX 프로덕션 파이프라인에 대한 강한 이해와 업계 표준 소프트웨어(Maya, Houdini, Nuke, Unreal Engine, Photoshop 등) 활용 능력을 갖추고 있습니다.
• 다양한 교육 형식을 활용하여 창의적인 대상에게 흥미로운 교육 콘텐츠를 제작한 경험이 있습니다.
