Major Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for marketing and revenue/profit management of BMS hematology and oncology products, aiming to enhance business potential and return on investment.
  • Develops strategies and tactics to optimize sales potential and maximize return on investments.
  • Contributes to the coordination and support of interactions with key functions like Sales, Medical, Alliance partner, Government affairs, Market Access, and other stakeholders to support business strategy development.
  • Sound planning skills are essential for developing successful strategic and tactical marketing plans including the development of key initiatives, investment plan, and appropriate contingency plans on an ongoing basis.
  • Conducts customer needs analysis with a focus on business goals, helping to identify and respond to customer demands to achieve optimal return on investment for BMS.
  • Accepts personal responsibility for the delivery of the strategic and tactical marketing plans and is held accountable for the delivery of results to the overall performance of the business.
  • Assists in analyzing business influences to determine the best commercial solutions, supporting efforts to gain product funding through collaboration with doctors, purchasers, politicians, and patients.
  • Identifies and cultivates key opinion leaders for working with now and in the future in a variety of our programs.
  • Looks for and actions mutual benefits in our relationships with KOLs. Works with a long-term perspective and may trade off immediate costs for the sake of the long-term relationship.
  • Takes the broader business perspective into account when making decisions. Works with a multi-disciplinary team of people to ensure that decisions made are correct. Knows when to seek assistance from senior management.
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, science or business is preferred.
  • Expected 3-5 years of marketing experience in developing and implementing strategic product marketing plan, sales forecasting, and tactical marketing plans at pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experiences in Oncology, Hematology or Rare disease is preferred.
  • Successful experience in both sales and marketing is preferred.
  • Successful experience in MSL (Field medical) is preferred.
  • Effective communication skill and high level of English fluency is required.
  • Demonstrated success in working with teams and partnering with other departments to develop programs and processes that align with business initiatives
  • Strong leadership and inter-personal skills to ensure cross-functional engagement and collaboration
  • Understanding of key customer needs and how to address them through creation of strategy and successful implementation of business plans

On-site Protocol

BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:

Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility. For these roles, onsite presence is considered an essential job function and is critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, and a positive Company culture.
