Job Description

[Main role]

• Support the General manager regarding the transformation of strategic decisions into operative business by following the group policies and procedures in accordance to the legislation
• Create and implement the financial strategy for the location as well as define annual budgets and business plans, with close collaboration and alignment with HQ (Asia pacific Region and Germany)
• Ensure the quality and transparency of the company’s financial results
• Ensure the reliability and timely provision of financial data, financial statements or other financial information; oversee the capital expenditure investment activities and asset management, etc.
• Support the management in accomplishing the organizational & operational objectives
• Ensure the quality of internal processes in order to avoid any risks related to possible legal impact
• Legal external representation of the location, as well as to oversee the tax, internal audit, statutory reporting, etc.
• Lead and support the management teams of Finance & Controlling, and IT

[Competency]

• Successfully completed studies in finance, controlling, or a related field (like the economics); An additional commercial qualification (e.g., MBA) would be a plus.
• 5 + years of progressive finance leadership role in leading mid. or big sized, product-driven organizations in a foreign MNC (Europe, America). Automotive industry experience is preferred.
• Familiar with Korean local culture, but also have working experiences in European company environment/cultures. Good knowledge of English language.
• Proven track record in managing overall finance functions, with deep expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and statutory reporting. Experience overseeing the IT function is a plus, but not a strict requirement.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams (4~5 controlling, 1 IT; the accounting activities was handled by ZF Asia pacific shared service center in China), foster clarity, and create a collaborative and accountable working environment.
