Role Summary:
As a Senior Marketing Specialist (Artist Marketing), you'll be the main point of contact for all artist marketing initiatives in Korea. You'll be a vital bridge between the local music industry and our global platform, amplifying new talent.
Role:
- Execute all artist marketing initiatives in Korea, with a deep focus on the local music industry landscape, latest trends, and breakout artists.
- Manage the end-to-end implementation of marketing programs designed to support emerging local artists through online/offline promotions, live events, and festival sponsorships.
- Drive campaigns to amplify up-and-coming Korean artists on the verge of international success by coordinating global marketing support and promotion.
- Manage a marketing agency to bring to life various creative campaigns and events for Korean artists.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Partnerships, Social, and Comms/PR, to ensure cohesive and impactful campaigns.
- Collaborate with regional and global counterparts to align local initiatives with broader company strategies and facilitate global artist promotion.
- Track and quantify the impact of marketing programs on business goals, working closely with insights and measurement teams.
You:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of work experience in marketing, brand management, or content creation, preferably with a proven track record in the music, entertainment, or tech industry.
- A deep passion for the Korean music industry, with a strong understanding of current trends, artists, and the competitive landscape.
- A highly organised and accountable individual with demonstrated experience in project management and campaign execution.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in managing and executing live events or music festivals is a strong plus.
- Fluency in both written and verbal Korean and English is required to facilitate collaboration with local, regional, and global teams.
