Team & Role overview (SCM Autonomation)
This role would be part of SCM Autonomation team in Coupang. SCM Autonomation team is responsible for building Retail SCM products, deep data science capabilities, analytical frameworks and owning metrics end to end to provide driving significant business impact. It will involve building AI/ML heavy products in Forecasting and Forecast Explainability. Forecasting is the holy grail for any retail company affecting both growth and health of the organization.
This role will involve building ML/data heavy products like forecasting, ordering science and inventory optimization, solving complex business use cases including promotion, seasonal, cyclicity, long horizon planning. Product leader is expected to nurture forecasting science product roadmap, crystalize, and quantify various problem statements, put together prioritization framework and bring clarity to wider organization in most simplistic manner about this deep data science problem. It is expected person understand deep data science model nuances and bring complete visibility on roadmap and deliverables trade-offs taken and influence stakeholders around to take right prioritization decisions.
What you will do
- Defining product vision and roadmap for Retail SCM Forecasting products, building tailored solutions for a diverse set of business needs
- Establishing product features prioritization approach and ruthlessly prioritizing multiple projects
- Collaborating with Data science, business, finance, product analytics teams to prioritize features.
- Own product analytics across all forecasting solutions to iron out fundamental flaws.
- Establishing product features prioritization approach and ruthlessly prioritizing multiple projects
- Defining product success metrics, building hypothesis, designing & conducting POC before building features for scale
- Influence data engineering improving model inputs Data quality / visibility / transparency and putting mechanism in place monitor model inputs, data drift, features stability.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s degree. Preferably master’s in business management or data analytics or statistics or equivalent
- 6 - 10 years of experience in Product management in SCM / deep analytics areas especially in retail domain.
- Product roadmap building, Product/design thinker, simplifying problem statements and articulating it in the most lucid way.
- AI/ML/Data heavy products building experience.
- SQL skills for quick problem study and problem quantification.
- Self-starter with the ability to absorb noise, quantify problems and prioritize ruthlessly and parallelize products.

Document Return Policy
- This notification is given pursuant to Article 11 (6) of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act.
