Alibaba International Group-Finance Senior Specialist (Aliexpress)-Seoul, South Korea

FBP: • Lead various project in pipeline as Finance coordinator, develop and implement end to end Finance SOP (from budget guideline to settlement) to facilitate launch of the new business initiative (Project scope covers customer service/logistic/sales marketing). • Collaborate closely with business partners to optimize business profitability. Manage various levers and initiatives aimed at enhancing financial performance and driving sustainable growth. • Develop category/local vs cross border business stream level key financial metric and align key principle to identify opportunities and drive actions on Investment area, set up key set of monitoring metrics & regular cadences with business to steer domain performance. • Champion automation and simplification initiatives to streamline reporting processes and enhance efficiency within the finance function. Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to drive productivity gains. FP&A: • Provide support for external audit projects and ensure all regulatory compliance requirements are met. Handle consolidated reporting and local regulatory reporting tasks, ensuring accuracy and alignment with group policies. Manage board reporting matters, preparing and reviewing financial statements as needed. • Lead the development and execution of financial plans, forecasts, and budgets, leveraging deep industry knowledge and analytical expertise. Conduct comprehensive variance analysis and scenario testing to identify potential financial risks and opportunities. • Communicate financial results and forecasts to key stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner. Initiate monthly discussions with country management teams, facilitating collaborative decision-making processes and aligning financial objectives with business goals. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial data and analysis. • Liquidity/Cashflow forecast: work with Treasury team to manage account balance & top up request, provide accurate and in time cashflow projection. • Handle Department cost review and all internal cross charge review, work closely with multiple finance upstream and downstream function to ensure monthend operation compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, business management, or related field, minimal 5year+ finance domain experience, at least 2 years of dedicated finance business partnering responsibilities, particularly within ecommerce/online business sector. Korean CPA/other international accounting qualification is a plus but not necessary. • Proficient bilingual proficiency, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders in KR local team and China stakeholders. • Demonstrated proficiency in handling big data and utilizing analytical tools for problem-solving. • Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on approach, capable of both high-level strategic planning and detailed analysis. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts in a clear and structured manner.
