What we are looking for
We’re looking a Field Application Engineer (FAE) responsible for providing technical support, application development, and customer training for metrology systems. This role involves working closely with customers to understand their requirements, optimizing film and structural metrology solutions based optic metrology tool, and ensuring successful implementation and integration of the technology into their manufacturing processes.

Nova Korea is looking for an Application Engineer of Dimensional Metrology Department (DMD).

Role Responsibilities
Your roles and responsibilities are:
- Oversee application tasks, ensuring efficient customer support and resource assignment.
- Set and monitor annual goals for the Applications department and individual team members.
- Lead projects, ensuring successful execution and strong customer relationships.
- Continuously learn about our products and meet customer needs.
- Plan and conduct effective training sessions for team members.
- Support the sales team with product introductions and market expansion.
Requirements
Must Have >
- Education: MS, BS, or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Materials Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Applied Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the semiconductor or related equipment industry, with a preference for OCD or Film metrology experience.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of optical metrology and excellent technical skills.
- Language: Advanced or intermediate communication skills in Korean and English.
Advantages >
- 5+ years of experience in OCD or Film metrology equipment customer support or similar systems.
- Understanding of statistics, semiconductor device physics, numerical analysis, and mathematical optimization.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Strong leadership, management, and customer support skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
