To engineer, commission, and service automation systems under the oversight and direction of your colleagues, mentor, and manager.
This role is based in Seoul, Korea. While this is an office-based position, there is requirement to be based on site 50-60% of the time.
What you will do
Sufficient knowledge is required to effectively implement Automation systems in a collaborative environment with guidance and support from colleagues and technical experts.
Other Responsibilities:
- Develop an understanding of the systems and areas assigned to you.
- Solution Trouble shooting
- Develop a thorough understanding of the systems and areas assigned to you.
- Develop an understanding of the plant and processes controlled by our automation solutions.
- Provide oversight for small projects or defined areas within larger projects.
- Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak
- Make a positive contribution to the health and safety of yourself, our employees, and others around you.
We believe you have
- 7+ years of experience in Automation and Project Engineering, ideally with a strong blend of both disciplines. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded individual capable of managing customer relationships, handling projects end-to-end, and engaging in commercial discussions.
- Proven experience in Automation and Electrical Engineering
- Practical knowledge and growing understanding of automation engineering principles.
- Experience in engineering, commissioning, and servicing automation systems.
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as Rockwell, AVEVA, Siemens (preferred), and Ignition
- Competent support and troubleshooting of automation solutions.
- Support of colleagues and associates as applicable.
- Ability to work with electrical drawings and perform basic modifications (contract-level)
- Strong project management capabilities
- Excellent customer relationship management
- Comfortable with commercial discussions and negotiations
- Fluent in Korean with an intermediate level in English.
- Educational Background: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Control Systems
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel 50–60% within Korea
