Business Development & Sales Manager

• There is an immediate opening for the key role of Rotary Pump Business Development / Sales Manager – Korea.
  This individual is responsible for sales growth and business development activities with Strategic Accounts, OEM, Distribution and End Users. Formulates strategies and implement plans to grow overall sales revenue and market share for the Business Unit in the specific vertical segments.  Candidate should ideally have a deep knowledge of the Rotary pump market and broad range of the associated products.
  Responsibilities are focused on top down selling, product awareness and driving sustainable growth through engagement and communication. In this role, he/she will report to the One PT Korea Leader and dotted line to the MD / Sales Director in each brand.  

Responsibilities: 

• Leading business development & sales (complete unit and aftermarket) activities for Korea.  
• Engage and support Channel Partners and Business Leader to develop the opportunity pipeline and to convert the pipeline into revenues.
• Developing strategic account relationships.
• Developing a network of aftermarket services. 
• Building strategy, develop the tools and processes to develop account relationship.
• Develop growth strategies in specific vertical markets by clearly defining expectations (goals, resourcing and market share penetration) and CP accountable for achieving results. 
• Distribution mapping and identify gaps in market coverage.
• Coordinate channel communication with sales, product management and communication manager (newsletter, distributor meetings, webinar so on ) to increase channel expertise and brand awareness. 
• Support product management to collect and report on product surveys, market trends, competitive information and establishing pricing rules (price lists and discounts).
• Provide technical product support and facilitating the close of large sales opportunities with CP when required

Job Requirements

Key Competencies:

• Expertise in Pumps technology and their applications (Ideally Rotary pumps).
• Deep knowledge and understanding of the Progressive Cavity & Gear pump market.
• Demonstrate an understanding of strategic account and vertical segment business drivers and purchasing behaviors.
• Strong sales & technical background.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to interface at all levels in an international environment.
• Strong written, verbal and presentations skills. Must have strong ability to explain technical information.
• Ambitious, enthusiastic and persistent.
• Committed, engaged and reliable.
• Achievement-oriented and willing to put a high level of effort to produce results in a fast-paced team environment.
• Must be comfortable working in an environment that is dynamic and evolving.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of proven experience in sales with technical products to distributors, engineering contractors and to end users.
• proven experience in EPC project with Reference list (Plant, Ship building etc.)
• Bachelor’s Degree required. Engineering or Business-Related preferred.
• Flexible. Ability to travel 40% to 60% both domestic and international.
