As a Principal Enterprise Architect at NTT DATA, your role is to shape the strategic vision and drive the design of complex managed service solutions for our largest enterprise clients. You will work closely with our sales team to proactively lead the presales process, conduct meetings, write proposals, and deliver compelling presentations that translate client business strategies into actionable IT roadmaps.
You will lead and support the internal service and technical teams to ensure business outcomes and requirements are met, integrating services, processes, applications, and technology across various domains and geographies. Your strategic thinking will guide the development of end-to-end solutions that optimize IT operations and deliver measurable business value.
You will collaborate with clients to understand their unique business scenarios and leverage your extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF to define architectural principles, develop As-Is and To-Be service architectures, and create transition roadmaps. Your insights into current and future technology trends will help shape compelling, value-driven solutions for our clients.
You will also contribute to the organization's knowledge base by sharing best practices with internal teams and clients, ensuring our solutions remain at the forefront of innovation. Additionally, you will define organizational structures, capabilities, processes, and business functions that align with client SLAs, KPIs, and strategic imperatives.
To thrive in this role, you need to have:
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF, and IT Service Management methodologies (e.g., ITIL, COBIT).
- Certification in TOGAF advantageous.
- Strong expertise in designing and leading complex managed service solutions across multiple domains and geographies.
- Proven ability to integrate technology solutions with business scenarios and drive strategic IT roadmaps.
- Expert knowledge of infrastructure strategies, including IaaS, PaaS, security, networking, and storage.
- Experience in IT operations within a large-scale, multinational technology services environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, understandable language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong skills in business negotiation, influencing, and conflict resolution. Ability to build and manage relationships at all levels of the organization and with clients.
- Extensive client engagement and consulting experience, with a knack for recognizing future business opportunities within client accounts.
- A bachelor's degree in information technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
