Key Role:
Plan and conduct bilateral theater exercises for the client. Assign milestones, develop scenario designs and exercise objectives, and write required bilateral exercise documents. Develop theater level exercise design concepts, scenarios, and training objectives with direct correlation to Joint Task List tasks and Commander's guidance. Act as the Executive Agent for all theater exercises, and plan and conduct conferences to confirm all movement requirements and proposed budget in support of theater exercises. Contribute to the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) planning process. Input Joint Training Tool (JTT) system entries and utilize news groups and the validation process in the Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES) to support exercise participation.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with U.S. Military Joint Staff exercises
- Experience with exercise and training using the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC)
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Ability to manage and advise on the JETP
- Ability to provide detailed inputs for the development of annual theater level JELC exercise schedules and support POM budget
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Completion of U.S. Military Intermediate Level Education (ILE) or Intermediate Developmental Education (IDE)
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience planning and executing Combined or Joint Force exercises in Asia
- Experience creating written communication products for clients, including whitepapers and presentations
- Knowledge of operational plans
- Knowledge of JOPES to support the deliverables of the contract and produce exercise planning deliverables
- Knowledge of transforming 4-star general led U.S. Military Headquarters to a 4-star general led Allied Nation Military Headquarters
- Ability to use JTT and build Joint Exercise Program (JEP) requirements into JTT
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- TS/SCI clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
