proteanTecs is looking for a Field Software & DevOps Engineer ,a hybrid role combining backend development, DevOps, and hands-on integration support to join the ride as we spearhead the next revolution in electronics!

Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering and/or DevOps roles
- Strong development skills in Java and/or Python
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Experience with Linux-based systems
- Proficiency with Git-based version control
- Monitoring experience with Prometheus and Grafana
- Fluent English (spoken and written) and excellent communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Spring Boot, Flink, or RabbitMQ
- Familiarity with distributed systems or high-performance computing environments
- Background in semiconductors, embedded systems, or hardware/software integration
- Experience working with global R&D teams across time zones
Responsibilities
- Deploy and upgrade software versions at the customer site
- Investigate, debug, and resolve production issues
- Fix bugs and contribute improvements to backend services written in Java and/or Python
- Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins
- Build and manage containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code with tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Monitor system performance using Prometheus and Grafana
- Collaborate closely with internal R&D, DevOps, and Architecture teams
- Write technical documentation, implementation guides, and internal best practices
