- Provide frontline IT support for simulation-based operations.
- Maintain and troubleshoot network systems in coordination with coalition partners.
- Ensure system integrity and security compliance per DoD regulations.
- Assist with hardware/software installation, configuration, and support.
- Document technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
- Configure and support network connectivity for simulation participants.
- Manage user access and permissions to maintain operational security.
- Provide remote assistance to personnel encountering technical difficulties.
- Train end users on best practices for secure system usage.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless interoperability.
- Support and troubleshoot audio-visual video walls used in the simulation environment.
- Maintain and resolve issues with unified communications tools, including chat, VTC suites, and collaboration platforms.
- Perform Tier 1 Windows desktop support, addressing hardware, OS, and application-related problems.
- Certifications:
- DoD 8570 IAT Level 1–2 Baseline Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
- Computer Environment Certification (e.g., AZ-900, MS-102, Network+, or CCNA).
- DoD 8140 DCWF Code 411 Technical Support Specialist Basic Level Certification (examples include CompTIA Security+, CompTIA A+, and CompTIA Network+).
- Security Clearance: U.S. Interim Secret or above (must be obtained prior to hire).
- Experience: Prior IT support experience in a military or coalition network environment is preferred.
- Other: Ability to travel to and from the work site as required.
- Preferred: Korean language proficiency is a plus.
- This is a temporary position specifically for the duration of the simulation exercise.
- Authorized travel expenses will be covered per contractual agreements.
- Candidates must be able to work in a high-paced operational environment alongside coalition teams.
- Compensation will be hourly and is commensurate with experience.
