This is an entry level Accounting & Tax position for our TMF Office in Seoul, South Korea. TMF Korea is a top professional services firm serving global MNCs across variety of different industries, and working as an accountant for TMF Korea means unleashing your true potential as a professional accountant.
- Collaborate, influence and communicate with stakeholders / clients;, - drive change and results as a team, building the continuous improvement culture,promote proactiveness and cooperation across various stakeholder groups and clients.
- Maintains relationship with daily client contact;
- Performs daily work with medium complexity, including preparing payment instructions, preparation of journal vouchers , posting journals to accountingsystem, closing partial or full set of book, prepare monthly and annual financial statements, tax returns with tax computations, services, and other tailormade management reports/ financial analysis;
- Reconciles accounts, balances ledgers, assists in updating cash position
- Issue tax invoices and perform input VAT tax verification;
- Liaises with auditors of clients to assist field audit
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 3+ years of related work experience, experience at BPO or shared services industry is preferred but not mandatory
- Result driven, collaborative attitude and strives for high standards of delivery to clients
- Strong process improvement and/or problem-solving skills
- Makes informed judgements and decisions based on practice and precedent
- Experience in managing client escalations, complaints & addressing root causes
- Experience in payroll management is an advantage but not critical
- Good knowledge of local system (e.g. Duzon or SAP/Oracle/etc);
- Fluent in Korean language, Good command of written English
