Overview
This role is responsible for leading the merchandising team by combining hands-on management of the High Jewelry product assortment and performance with broader oversight of team members across other product categories. The position plays a critical role in supporting the overall merchandising strategy, enhancing team performance, and ensuring alignment with Tiffany’s brand values and business objectives.
Key Accountabilities
Merchandising Strategy & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support the Merchandising Director in developing and executing local merchandising strategies aligned with global directives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to implement initiatives that drive company goals.
- Ensure merchandising plans enhance the client experience and optimize sales performance.
- nalyze local market and competitor trends, providing actionable insights and feedback to the global team.
Sales Forecasting & Business Planning
- Provide SKU-level sales forecasts for new products based on historical data, trend analysis, and market insights.
- Collaborate with Global Assortment Planning to implement strategic and effective product assortments by store for Retail and E-Commerce channels.
- Partner with Demand Planning to align on sales forecasts and with Inventory Planning to optimize supply and ensure strong sell-through.
- Monitor and analyze sales data across categories by channels to identify business opportunities and potential risks.
High Jewelry Category Management
- Curate optimal assortments for High Jewelry doors and exclusive events, ensuring product offerings reflect the company’s luxury positioning and strategic objectives.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with Global High Jewelry Merchandising regarding performance, product needs, and opportunities.
- Identify client needs in the High Jewelry category through close collaboration with store leaders and secure requested pieces via global coordination.
Team Management & Leadership
- Supervise and guide merchandising team members, ensuring they proactively lead their respective product categories.
- Set clear goals, provide ongoing coaching, and foster a high-performance, collaborative culture. Promote knowledge sharing and support team members’ development, accountability, and ownership.

Required Qualifications
- Passion for the luxury jewelry industry, with strong merchandising strategy, analytical skills, and business acumen.
- Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience, including proven leadership in managing teams.
- Ability to work effectively cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with a global luxury brand.
- Solid knowledge of gemstones and fine jewelry (GIA certification is a plus).
- Proficiency with Power BI, Anaplan, and other data analysis tools.
