Position: Sales Director

Location: Korea
Reports to: General Manager, Korea

Job Description:

The Sales Director is responsible for direct and indirect sales in Korea and the leadership role of the local Sales organization. The Sales Director promotes and sells the full range of Videojet Industrial equipment (Inkjet, TTO, Laser & LPA, etc.) to direct customers and resellers in Korea, while managing the sales team and developing new strategic accounts.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Generating incremental revenue in Korea by managing, supporting, and working with the sales team.
  • Identifying current and future business opportunities by producing strategic plans.
  • Maximizing sales through effective communication, identifying compelling customer value propositions, and competitive pricing models.
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of targeted vertical markets and their critical success factors.
  • Managing outbound activities of designated regional customer accounts.
  • Conducting regular funnel reviews using SFDC to ensure project progress.
  • Developing competition attack plans and leveraging successes to win business at all sites of designated regional customer accounts.
  • Achieving revenue and margin targets through strong relationships with resellers.
  • Supporting resellers with product-related material and information.
  • Ensuring excellent follow-up to exceed customer expectations and resolve outstanding issues.
  • Driving accountability around daily management and monthly KPIs.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree (ideally in a technical or engineering discipline).
  • 10+ years of industrial equipment sales experience, preferably in an industrial/manufacturing equipment sales environment.
  • Proven track record as a sales director delivering exceptional sales results at large accounts.
  • Experience in a process-oriented sales organization.
  • High computer literacy (especially in Excel and PowerPoint; Oracle and SFDC are a plus).
  • Strong deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to deliver results while adapting to changing priorities and unforeseen challenges.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken Korean and English.
  • Willingness to travel 25% - 50% of the time within Korea.
