A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Senior Electronic Engineer at Power Solutions Asia in MKS Korea, you will partner with external and internal customers to uncover and solve the difficult problems that lead to innovative and valuable new products and technologies. In this role, you will report to the Engineering Manager.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Designs, develops, verify and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment.
- Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products.
- Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
- Obtains system-level expertise for MKS RF and pulsed-DC power delivery systems and products.
- Trouble shooting, modification, testing and evaluation using Generators and Matches based on the customer’s understanding
- Understands the characteristics and improvements of the developed product, develops test methods by using engineering backgrounds including development software/firmware functions, and realize them experimentally.
- Writes a technical report and documents on the evaluation and communicate with customers or internal development engineers.
Skills You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 year equivalent experiences (or 4 year or more experiences in similar industry) in the field of Power Electronics, Radio-frequency Electronics, Control algorithm, and related industry experience (Master's degree preferred).
- RF circuit design experience or skill set of engineering tools.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the same or similar industry is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- The ability and proficiency of engineering tools such as LT-Spice, MATLAB, Excel, HFSS, etc. are preferred.
- RF Matcher design or the related development experiences.
- Electro-mechanical numerical analysis, failure analysis, reliability evaluation, and its design experiences will also be considered highly.
- Good English communication skills are preferred.
