Overview
The Actuarial Intern will mainly perform treaties review and model for Korea traditional business. This role will contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of the financial forecasting infrastructure and analytic foundation by developing/enhancing actuarial models and quantify the new treaty’s modelling impact and report to Korea Head of Valuation. Not only new treaty modelling but also support other regular task of valuation team. Such as, quarterly closing, actuarial assumption update, corporate driven project (principle-based initiatives) and other tasks.
Duties and responsibilities
- Treaty reviewing and data input for the new treaty modelling
- Maps actuarial assumptions from pricing documents into the valuation system
- Generate new treaty model cashflow and result review
- Report new treaty modelling impact to Korea Head of Valuation
- Support generating cash flow projection for quarter closing
- Support maintaining existing actuarial model
- Support other regular tasks of valuation team
Requirements
- University graduate or current students who can work full-time
- Mathematics, Actuarial, or Statistics majors
- First exam pass with Korean actuarial qualification is preferred
- Good English skills is preferred
