Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced freelance translator/interpreter to support live business communication between Korean-speaking personnel and our international team during important meetings in Seoul on June 9 and 10, 2025.
The translator must be fluent in Korean and either Chinese or English, with a strong grasp of business and e-commerce terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to support both executive-level and team-level discussions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide real-time, in-person interpretation between Korean and English or between Korean and Chinesefor casual interpreting and business meetings
- Support both internal discussions and virtual meetings with U.S.-based team members
- Ensure clear and culturally appropriate communication between all parties
- Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold professional standards of integrity and discretion
Requirements:
- Fluency in Korean and either English or Mandarin Chinese
- Experience in live business translation/interpretation, especially in e-commerce industries
- Ability to interact professionally with both executives and general staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of confidentiality, reliability, and work ethic
Compensation:
- ₩150,000–₩350,000 KRW per day, depending on experience and language pairing
- Opportunity for future collaboration depending on performance
Schedule & Location:
- On-site in Seoul on June 9 and June 10, 2025
- Participation in virtual meetings with our U.S. team may be required during one of the sessions
