CB - MNC Coverage - Korea
Position Overview
Details of the Division and Team:
As part of the Korea MNC Coverage team, the MNC banker will be responsible to generate ideas and assesses opportunities for pitching new business to MNC clients in Korea, based on a good understanding of the client’s capital structures, treasury flows, the competitor landscape and deep knowledge of financial markets/regulatory requirements. The MNC banker is responsible for the preparation of relevant materials and will pitch to new and existing clients with the aim of winning the mandate for the Bank. The MNC banker will work in close partnership with product partners and coverage colleagues across Korea, AMEA and HQ, ensuring adherence to Bank policy and relevant legal/regulatory frameworks.

Your key responsibilities:
Origination of new client relationship, with particular focus on US MNCs
Management and development of existing MNC client portfolio in Korea MNC Coverage
Maintain regular contacts with existing clients with a view to grow revenue potential across the products
Set out strategy for new client acquisition in line with senior management’s objectives and in coordination with Coverage corridors
Deliver the client specific solution based on the banking requirement identified via continuous callings
Support HQ and Regional colleagues in pitching to HQ and RTC, as relevant, bring highly specialized contents on Korea market and regulations
Assessment for the clients in cooperation with credit officers and manage efficient credit resource reallocation to improve the risk return
Your skills and experience:
5 -10 years+ experience in Banking.
Working knowledge of Market, Corporate Finance, Korean Regulation and Treasury
Native level Korean and Fluent English
Good communication and influencing skills
Sales motivated, and able to develop & maintain relationships
Very strong and persuasive communication skills in English
