- The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and strategic planning for a business. This role provides leadership and direction to the Business, ensuring sound financial practices, reporting, and analysis to support the company's growth and profitability objectives across the defined markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies, policies, and procedures to manage the company's global financial operations
- Oversee the preparation of all financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and regulatory reporting for the organization's worldwide entities
- Analyze financial data, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to the executive team to drive informed business decisions
- Manage & partner with teams, including direct reports, to ensure efficient and effective financial processes, controls, and compliance
- Partner with business unit leaders to provide financial guidance and support for strategic initiatives, investments, and operational improvements
- Identify and lead the implementation of financial systems and technologies to streamline financial management
- Ensure the company maintains strong internal controls, audit practices, and adherence to all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and banking/financing partners to manage the company's financial obligations and relationships
- Contribute to the company's overall strategic direction and participate in executive-level decision making
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CPA) preferred
- Minimum 10 years of progressive financial management experience, within a global or multinational organization
- Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis for complex, international businesses
- Strong understanding of global financial regulations, tax implications, and accounting standards
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in financial modeling, data analysis, and the use of financial management software and technologies
- Ability to think strategically, identify financial risks and opportunities, and provide data-driven recommendations
