Since the App Store launched in 2008, the App Store has changed the way we all live; it has enabled countless new companies, spawned new industries and created millions of jobs. It has also brought gaming to whole new audiences around the globe and, today, iOS is the most popular gaming platform in the world. But we believe we’re just getting started. We are looking for a skilled, experienced and result-drive Business Manager with a focus on the games category to join the App Store Korea team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with developers and cross-functional teams at Apple to build strong partnerships and identify opportunities for driving business growth.

Description

The Business Manager is responsible for helping game developers grow and succeed within the App Store ecosystem by providing the latest tools, policy updates, and information on new features. You will also support developers in expanding their businesses globally on the App Store by offering data-driven insights, identifying growth opportunities, and proactively assisting them. You will collaborate with both local and international teams, including Apple’s Worldwide Developer Relations, Marketing, and cross-functional App Store teams, to drive the shared goal of fostering developer growth on the App Store. Additionally, you will proactively identify opportunities and take initiative to grow the gaming business on the App Store Korea.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience across business development, partnership management, business or strategy consulting, data analytics, ideally with 5+ years experience in mobile gaming.
  • Deep knowledge of gaming trend, or mobile and digital media industry
  • Strong knowledge of competitive, 3rd party products and connection with local game industries.
  • Outstanding relationship management skills and ability to foster strong internal and external relationships
  • Solid track record of successful negotiation, working with many groups to achieve goal

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to present to executive audiences.
  • Great project management skills, with ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and adhere to tight deadlines.
  • Results-oriented, energetic and focused with a strong desire to succeed.
