Purpose of Role

This role serves as a strategic communicator and brand advocate, driving integrated efforts across influencer marketing, public relations, and broader brand communications. It is responsible for developing and executing holistic communication strategies—spanning media, influencer, and brand storytelling—that enhance Under Armour Korea’s voice and relevance in the market. The role also plays a vital function in managing brand reputation, including proactive messaging and crisis communication as needed.

Your Impact

  • Develop and lead integrated influencer marketing and PR strategies that align with UA Korea’s overall brand direction, marketing plans, and business objectives
  • Design and execute seasonal and campaign-based communications plans that generate media coverage, amplify brand messaging, and foster deeper consumer connection
  • Manage press communications with professionalism and consistency—writing and distributing press releases, coordinating interviews, and organizing media events
  • Identify potential reputation risks and build crisis response frameworks that ensure swift, brand-safe communication in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Craft compelling brand and product narratives tailored for the Korean market while staying consistent with global brand tone and guidelines
  • Monitor cultural, industry, and social trends to uncover timely storytelling opportunities across both media and influencer channels
  • Build and manage a robust influencer roster that reflects UA’s brand values, and foster long-term partnerships that contribute to brand growth, cultural relevance, and community trust
  • Proactively manage seasonal product seeding and exposure through agency-operated showrooms, ensuring targeted visibility among media, influencers, celebrities, and stylists
  • Plan and execute viral marketing activations tied to key campaigns, amplifying organic engagement and cultural impact
  • Support influencer-led content creation across paid, earned, and owned channels, ensuring seamless integration into broader campaigns
  • Establish measurable KPIs for all PR and influencer activities, analyze performance data, and deliver insight-driven reports to internal stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with agencies and production partners, maintaining high-quality and on-brand execution across all external-facing activities
  • Oversee communications budget across PR, media, and influencer workstreams, optimizing resources to maximize ROI and campaign impact

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in public relations, influencer marketing, or brand communications
  • Deep familiarity with Korea’s media and influencer landscape, including existing relationships and outreach experience
  • Experience leading crisis communications and navigating high-pressure external communication challenges
  • Excellent writing and messaging skills in both Korean and English
  • Strong ability to lead cross-functional projects with attention to detail, timing, and brand consistency
  • Experience in the sports, performance apparel, or fashion industry strongly preferred
  • Comfortable with managing KPIs and reporting media outcomes using data-driven frameworks
  • Demonstrates a collaborative, team-first mindset—able to work closely with diverse teams and partners to co-create and problem-solve

Education And/Or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field
  • Track record of leading integrated campaigns across paid and earned channels
  • Experience with both internal marketing teams and external agency partners welcomed
  • Portfolio of relevant campaigns or media placements is a plus
