Service planning process and solution manager
[Mission/Purpose of the Job]
Service planning process and solution manager leads the global enablement of service logistics planning through the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of processes and digital tools. This role plays a critical part in shaping the future of global service planning, forecasting, and logistics execution by ensuring data-driven decision-making, operational excellence, and strategic alignment across the VSS business divisions
[Main Responsibilities]
- Strategic Influence on Global Service Planning
- Act as a key enabler and influencer of global service planning strategies.
- Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to align planning processes with business goals.
- Drive initiatives that improve forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, and service level performance.
- Process Ownership & Optimization
- Define, standardize, and continuously improve global service logistics processes.
- Ensure end-to-end process integration across Product Companies (PCs), Customer Centers (CCs), and Distribution Centers (DCs).
- Lead process harmonization efforts to support scalability and agility.
- Solution Deployment & Lifecycle Management
- Ensure VSS planning tools are effectively integrated, adopted, and deliver measurable value.
- Lead global deployment, upgrade, and optimization of key VSS planning and logistics tools:
- e-Hub – Global repair forecasting tool
- Syncron – Inventory sizing and service parts optimization tool
- ETC for business critical new or existing planning & forecasting tools
- Continually drive improvement and develop advanced solutions to reflect the strategic service requirement into multi divisional demand & supply planning tool (Eg. APO, Kinaxis, etc)
- Data Governance & Process Management
- Establish and enforce data governance standards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and transparency.
- Drive automation and digitalization of planning and logistics processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Change Leadership
- Partners with IT, VTIS, VTBA organizations, and global multidivisional stakeholders to ensure successful tools and process integration.
- Lead change management initiatives to support digital transformation and continuous improvement.
- Act as a global ambassador for service logistics, planning excellence.
- Performance Monitoring & Strategic Reporting
- Define and monitor KPIs related to planning accuracy, tool performance, and process efficiency.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership to guide strategic direction.
- Enable advanced analytics and reporting capabilities to support strategic decisions.
- Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Mentor a global service team of planning process and tool
- Lead and develop own team’s capability for new digital technology beneficial for business process improvement
- Influence on service organizational capability in service planning, forecasting, and digital tool usage
Experience:
- 10+ years in service logistics, supply chain planning, or process/tool management in a global organization.
- Proven success in deploying enterprise-level planning tools and driving process transformation.
- Experience influencing cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced MS Excel, Power BI
- Proficiency in Kinaxis, Syncron, SAP ECC6, SAP APO-SNP, MAPICS, e-Hub
- Strong analytical, modeling, and data governance capabilities
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and change leadership
- Ability to Inspire and motivate global, cross-cultural teams to adopt new ideas or approaches.

Financial Acumen:
- Ability to build business cases including ROI, cost-benefit analysis, and budgeting.

Languages:
- English (mandatory)
Travel:
- Expected travel across Asia, US, and EMEA regions
- Flexibility to work across global time zones to support international teams and stakeholders
