1. Accounting and analysis of a specific business vertical and/or function.
2. Driving efficiencies in business processes and guiding business teams on accounting areas.
3. Partnering with the members of the global accounting organization to develop process improvement initiatives and assist in the identification of accounting standards for global consistency.
4. Coordinating with auditors for timely closure of statutory audit and tax audit.
5. Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts, research errors and work with appropriate departments and members of management to identify and improve/correct process or accounts that may have repetitive problems.
6. Complete journal entries and other month-end duties as outlined on the close list or as requested.
7. Perform transaction analysis and/or troubleshooting to provide information to management as requested.
8. Identify and recommend process improvement initiatives for department.
9. Work collaboratively with foreign offices to ensure accurate and timely reporting and consolidation of monthly financial information
10. Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned by finance manager, regional controller.
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2. Well versed with Oracle
3. At least 3-4-year accounting experience.
4. Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
5. Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and deadlines.
6. Advanced Excel skills.
7. CPA/CA in accounting preferred.
