Adhesive Application Engineer for Automotive Components

About this Position

The application engineer will engage in product recommendations, customized applications, and technical support for customers, focusing on enhancing adhesive processes. They will conduct technical visits, perform demonstrations, troubleshoot issues, and deliver comprehensive documentation. Additionally, the role includes training field sales teams and customers on product applications, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

What you´ll do

• Provide expert technical recommendations and customized product applications to meet customer needs.
• Conduct new product demonstrations and troubleshoot technical issues for customers.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and project teams to support project goals effectively.
• Quantify and document the value of Henkel solutions delivered to customers.
• Deliver technical training to field sales forces and customers on product applications.
• Utilize digital tools like ACE/Albert and maintain Lab Requests database to document activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal safety, health, and environmental (SHE) rules and regulations.
• Execute technical visits, audits, and demonstrations for customers, documenting outcomes.
• Support local and regional projects, contributing to project planning and execution.
• Champion innovation and best practices across accounts to drive continuous improvement.

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or chemical related field is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in related field is preferred.
• Knowledge and/or experience in EV battery application solution is preferred.
• Excellent command of MS Office is required.
• Good communication skills in Korean is mandatory and business level of English communication is required
• Able to go on business trips
