About this Position
This position will be responsible for overall supply planning activities and implementation of supply planning strategy in Korea for Henkel Adhesive Technology.This role leads the entire supply chain planning organization for the country in the responsible areas of network and planning parameters, including distribution planning, finish goods planning, raw and packing material planning, production scheduling and procurement as well as sales and operation planning of all sub-business units in Korea.
What you´ll do
- Manages and drives supply chain processes to ensure continuous improvement in forecast accuracy, demand and supply planning, master production planning, production scheduling, and raw material procurement
- Continuously improves processes and accuracy
- Shapes and develops the Supply Chain organization to deliver outstanding results in terms of total supply chain cost, inventory management, and CNWC performance
- Initiates supply chain improvement projects and facilitates best practice sharing across business units and sites to reduce total supply chain management costs
- Manages inventories of raw and packaging materials, traded and finished goods to support the business
- Ensures optimal inventory levels to improve OSMI, reduce inventory carrying costs and enhance OTIF performance
- Ensures compliance and follow the standard of material handling
- Assures quality, including on-time delivery and delivery of the planned quantities
- Be responsible for people coaching and development, and ensures proper leadership in place to frost entrepreneurship and cross function collaboration
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s degree in related field is required
- Minimum of twenty (20) years experience in Supply Chain Management is required
- Minimum of three (3) years experience as a team manager is required
- Proven experience in areas such as Supply Chain and Demand Planning, Forecasting, Cost Reduction, Logistics, Shipping, Materials Management, Warehousing, Inventory Control, S&OP, Operational Excellence, and Project Management
- Good communication skills in Korean and English are required
- Excellent command of MS Office is required
- Willing and able to go on business trips both domestically and internationally
