- Job title : C&B Operation Specialist

[ key Responsibilities ]
[ Compensation & Benefits Operations ]
- Support the implementation and administration of compensation programs, including base salary, allowances, incentives, and annual salary review cycles.
- Assist in managing C&B policies and guidelines, ensuring they are aligned with corporate standards and local practices.
- Participate in annual compensation planning (merit increase, bonus planning), including preparing employee data, coordinating with HRBPs, and validating results.
- Provide operational support for incentive programs, such as sales incentive plans or spot bonus schemes, including data collection, payout calculation, and communication.
- Maintain and manage employee compensation and benefits data in HRIS (e.g., salary history, job grades, position changes).
- Prepare and submit C&B-related reports for internal stakeholders, global headquarters, and compliance/audit needs.
- Assist in job analysis, job leveling, and internal equity reviews, supporting market benchmarking exercises and salary survey participation.
- Support the implementation of new benefits programs or policy changes, including communication, Q&A support, and system updates.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors (consulting firms, survey providers) to ensure smooth operation of all C&B initiatives.
[ Payroll Operations ]
- Collect, validate, and consolidate monthly payroll data such as attendance (leaves, sick days, LOA), fixed/variable pay items, bonuses, and severance pay.
- Collaborate with external payroll vendors to ensure accurate payroll processing, tax calculations, and statutory deductions.
- Prepare payroll summaries and reports for internal approval and coordinate payment schedules with finance.
- Administer statutory insurances (4 major social insurances) and taxes: including enrollments/terminations, monthly filings, and reconciliation.
- Manage offboarding payroll calculations and severance settlements, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, taxation, and deductions with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support internal/external audit processes by preparing required payroll documentation and reports.
- Continuously improve payroll operations through automation, risk mitigation, and process optimization.
- Monitor legal updates and ensure payroll operations are compliant with Korean labor and tax laws.
[ Benefits Administration ]
- Manage employee benefits programs (health, welfare, insurance, retirement, etc.) in compliance with local laws and company policy.
- Serve as point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries.
- Support vendor management and ensure SLA delivery.
[ Data Analysis & Reporting ]
- Analyze compensation data and prepare reports for internal and external benchmarking.
- Provide analytics and insights to support C&B program enhancements.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes that may impact rewards programs.
[ Compliance & Policy ]
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal C&B policies.
- Participate in internal/external audits related to compensation and benefits.
[ Qualifications ]
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR operations, especially in compensation & benefits or payroll.
- Strong understanding of Korean labor laws, income tax, and social security regulations.
- Proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar).
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills in Korean and English (written & verbal).
