A company that brings most creative minds in science and technology to develop a revolutionary high throughput atomic force microscopy (AFM) system. This enables atom-scale resolution 3D metrology at industry-level throughput. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced metrology machines, and are expanding our business in the US and Asia.
Responsibilities:
- Supports a growing installed base in Korea, Japan and the US and customers.
- Expansion of our business at existing customers, including identification and qualification of new applications.
- Establishing strong engagement with new customers, leading to system shipments and multiple application developments.
- Preparing Korea to serve as a regional hub to support our activities in Japan and Taiwan.
- Play an important role in pitches to the customer, as well as pitches for key decisions within the company.
- Responsible for ensuring company's products become the preferred metrology choice in the customer’s manufacturing process for an increasing number of applications.
- Provide insights into the technical customer needs and the economics (affordability) of metrology solutions for leading semiconductor manufacturers in Korea.
- Show how company products stack up against competition, and what we need to address to become the preferred supplier or preferred product.
- Ensure future demand by understanding critical milestones and timing of customer qualification and ramp plans.
- Ensure the voice of the customer (why, what, when something is needed) is represented in Company’s internal decision making on product development, installation, upgrades and field service support.
- Identify the key decision makers (and who influences them) and build a relationship with them and influence customer decision making.
- Develop a team that supports and grows the local installed base with field service support and application support.
- Support regional installed base growth by putting a regional escalation team in place in collaboration with HQ in Europe.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated capability to lead and inspire a team in a competitive semiconductor business.
- Understanding of the technical and economic benefits of metrology applications to the customers.
- Understanding of what stakeholders play what role in decision making on product at customers and build and maintain strong relationships them.
- Ability to develop and drive execution of plans resulting in new product adoption or adoption of existing products for new applications.
- Persuasive interpersonal and communication skills aimed at driving adoption by customer and swift decision making in Nearfield Headquarters.
- Travel as needed to HQ.
