Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Business Development Director to drive growth, expand market opportunities, and build strong client relationships. This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and leading initiatives to increase revenue and market segment share in Korea. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in marketing & sales, business development, and leadership.
What you will do
- Strategic Growth & Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies to drive customer growth, revenue growth and market expansion
- Lead Generation & Partnerships: Identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with key clients, and establish strategic partnerships.
- Market Research & Analysis: Analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and partner needs to identify new growth opportunities.
- Sales & Revenue Generation: Develop and execute partnership strategies, negotiate contracts, and ensure revenue targets are met or exceeded.
- Leadership & Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, b2b sales, and product development, to align business goals.
- Client Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Team Management: Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of business development initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
- 13+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of markets such as online to offline/franchise business/commerce/payment/IT platforms, competitive analysis, and business growth strategies.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful business development strategies,
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Experience to develop strategic partnerships and actual success
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
