Job Description

Role Purpose

You will promote the sales of Rockwell Automation solutions, products and services to prospective and existing customers from within a defined selected account list, establishing solid and long-term business relationships with the customers and creating profitable business growth. You will be responsible for overall account coordination, including account plan and target setting.

Reporting Line

You will report to End-user Sales Manager, Heavy Industry.

Position Summary

  • Achieve and exceed the annual sales target through the maximization of business opportunities at the specified accounts.

  • Develop and implement account plans for all accounts assigned.

  • Lead the efforts of Rockwell Automation resources to provide Rockwell Automation solutions, products and services to the customers

  • Accomplish directly or in collaboration with other resources (i.e. Identify sales and business opportunities, present quotes and proposals, negotiate and close the orders).

  • Responsible for the preparation and presentation of quotes, sales proposals, and contracts to the customer in compliance with Company Policies, obtaining the appropriate approvals.

  • Handle objections and manage a pipeline of opportunities, negotiate profitable deals.

  • Consult with other departments on issues like pricing, product specification, warranties and product adaptation to ensure that we provide business and technical solutions that meet customer needs.

  • Collaborate with all sales teams to increase market reach, ensure comprehensive sales coverage, and deliver accurate order fulfillment.

  • Develop and share successful concepts and ideas to showcase Rockwell Automation's capabilities.

  • Use a sales CRM to manage the sales pipeline and capture prospect information.

  • Communicate the value proposition during presentations and product demonstrations to engage prospects and customers.

  • Oversee the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting through deal closure.

The Essentials - You Will Have :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in technical sales or account management.

  • Prior business experience in EPC and Power/Energy Industry is preferred.

  • Experience selling control, information, and automation solutions within manufacturing environments.

  • The ability to acquire new business across our entire customer base.

  • Strong English communication skills, including speaking, listening, and writing.
