- Work closely with the Goods Flow team to manage short-term store capacity, balancing inbound and outbound volumes by optimizing space, equipment, and workforce.
- Lead and motivate goods flow co-workers to secure high goods availability and customer order fulfilment at the lowest possible cost.
- Recruit, retain, and develop a diverse and competent Fulfilment Operations Team, ensuring succession planning.
- Promote IKEA’s commitment to sustainability by taking actions that reduce environmental impact while supporting long-term profitability.
- Live IKEA values, fostering a strong culture that inspires exceptional team performance.
- Ensure compliance with the IKEA Code of Conduct, internal regulations, and local health, safety, security, and environmental laws.
- Provide input to and implement the logistics action plan in inbound and/or outbound processes.
- Share knowledge of efficient operations and health & safety principles to develop colleagues and business partners.
- Ensure high-quality, accurate daily operations to secure excellent product availability and stock accuracy for customers.
- Support the IKEA Value Chain goals by executing processes in line with global and local agreements with Transport Service Providers.
