Job Overview
We are looking for a Growth Lead - South Korea based in South Korea to own Jetpac’s market entry and scale-up among Korean travelers heading abroad. This is a full-stack role—spanning end to end Go to Market (GTM) - Digital Marketing, Partnerships, digital growth, and product localization.
You’ll be responsible for building our awareness and acquisition engine, including but not limited to Korean Influencer led awareness, unlocking local channels (Naver, Kakao, etc.), integrating regional payment methods (like KakaoPay, Naver Pay, Toss), and positioning Jetpac as a must-have travel companion for outbound Korean travelers, especially to Japan and China.
Key Responsibilities
Market Strategy & Execution
- Lead the go-to-market strategy for Korea → Global traveler segment
- Identify key outbound corridors (Japan, China, Southeast Asia, Europe, etc.) and develop localized playbooks
- Adapt pricing, creatives, language, funnel flows, and value propositions for Korean consumers
Run market sizing, user research, and competitive benchmarking
Local Channel Strategy & Growth
- Build and scale digital acquisition through Naver Ads, Kakao Ads, Coupang Ads, and content partnerships
- Optimize Jetpac’s visibility across Naver search, blogs, and cafes through organic and paid strategies
- Drive creator-led campaigns via KakaoTalk Channels and TikTok Korea
- Collaborate with performance marketing team to adapt global channels (Meta, Google, TikTok) for Korea
Set up and run A/B tests across creatives, audiences, landing pages, and user funnels
Payments & Checkout Localization
- Integrate Korean payment options such as KakaoPay, Naver Pay, Toss, Samsung Pay, and local cards
- Work with product and payments teams to enable localized checkout flows and wallet adoption
Identify and resolve blockers in payment experience, trust, or UI/UX conversion friction
Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
- Build alliances with airlines, OTAs, travel agencies, telco resellers, student consultants, and migration firms
- Partner with top KOLs, travel influencers, and YouTubers for content amplification and affiliate-led growth
- Negotiate and manage affiliate/commission-based partnerships for B2B2C expansion
Performance & Optimization
- Monitor acquisition, conversion, retention, NPS, and LTV for Korea cohort
- Share structured reporting and market insights with cross-functional and leadership teams
- Prioritize high-impact experiments, track performance weekly, and iterate based on outcomes
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with product, growth, lifecycle, content, and customer support to shape the end-to-end Korean user experience
- Localize communications, support flows, and CRM based on Korean user behavior and preferences
- Represent the voice of the Korean market within Jetpac
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in growth, digital marketing, or country expansion
- Deep knowledge of Korea’s digital ecosystem—Naver, Kakao, Coupang, influencers, and creators
- Native fluency in Korean and professional fluency in English
- Experience launching or growing consumer digital products in Korea
- Strong grasp of performance marketing metrics and digital experimentation
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently, build 0-to-1, and drive execution at speed
Preferred Experience
- Background in travel, eSIM, telco, fintech, or cross-border ecommerce
- Familiarity with local wallets and fintech APIs (KakaoPay, Naver Pay, Toss, etc.)
- Prior experience with app launches or mobile-first growth in Korea
- Existing network in Korea’s travel or creator ecosystem
Desired Skills
- Data-driven decision-making with working knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Looker,etc.)
- Cultural fluency in Korean travel behavior, digital content, and mobile payments
- Ability to localize growth strategies while aligning with global brand direction
- Passion for travel, tech, and scaling from 0 to 1
