About the role
Managing overall HR related jobs for Korea office collaborating with HQ
What you will do
- Implementing HR strategies, policies and processes within Korea following the guidelines provided by global headquarters, actively engaging with management and employees, and acting as a bridge for communication between both groups.
- Managing Compensation & Benefit aspects, including payroll processing and accuracy checks, salary reviews, annual bonuses, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and policies.
- Administering and coordinating performance appraisal process collaborating with management team in Workday HRIS system
- Supporting the end-to-end recruitment process (from job postings and sourcing to interviewing and onboarding), partnering with hiring managers
- Maintaining and utilizing the company's HRIS (Human Resources Information System) – workday in all HR factors especially staffing, appraisal process and overtime management.
- Ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, compliance with the local labor law
- Administrating the local mandatory training course
- Planning and coordinating employees’ engagement and communication events such as all employees’ meetings and workshops.
- Stay informed about labor legislation updates and ensure compliance
What you’ll need to succeed
- Education: A bachelor's degree or higher in HR, business, law, or a related field is typically required.
- Experience: Proven professional HR work experience (a minimum of 5 years is mentioned in similar roles) is expected in multinational settings.
- Solid knowledge of Korean labor laws and practices.
- HRIS – Workday experience is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with various levels of employees and leaders.
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
