In your role as Manufacturing Software Engineer at Kohler Ventures, you will:
- Define test cases to verify subassemblies and the final product during the production process
- Oversee external vendors to develop, set up, and manage function testers at the production line
- Develop and modify production line testing software
- Manage production servers (e.g., MES: Manufacturing Execution System) to support continuous and stable production
- Manage network configuration and software environment of the production line
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality procedures
Skills/Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional software development and testing environments, preferably in the digital health or electronics industry
- Familiar with programming languages such as Python, C, C++
- Experience in setting up and maintaining software environments at production lines
- Experience with software engineering tools such as GitHub, Jira, etc.
- Development experience in commonly used communication interfaces in industry, such as I2C, SPI, TCP/IP, RS232, UART, etc.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical and management information clearly and concisely
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of manufacturing automation
- Positive, can-do attitude with a high degree of ownership and self-motivation to drive change
- Entrepreneurial experience in a high-growth technology-focused company or startup
- Great at documentation according to requirements and regulations
- Experienced in and open-minded to international & interracial work collaboration
