Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Quantum Application Engineer to join our global quantum application engineering team. Based in our Seoul office, you will focus on supporting Korean-speaking customers in South Korea.
In this role, you will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure success through high-quality technical support. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, project management, and applying a deep understanding of quantum algorithms, Classiq’s platform, and a range of quantum applications.
You will play a key role in driving sales in South Korea by ensuring customer success and identifying opportunities for product improvement. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Commercial Director in South Korea, the Managing Director, APAC, and other Quantum Application Engineers in each region to promote Classiq’s values and brand across South Korea’s quantum ecosystem.
While this position is primarily office-based, we offer flexible work arrangements, including the option to work from home.
Responsibilities
What Will Your Day Look Like?
- Providing technical support to Classiq's customers and employees
- Troubleshooting issues and managing projects related to quantum algorithms and applications
- Collaborating with the global Quantum Application Engineer team and the South Korea Commercial Director
- Driving customer success and identifying opportunities for product enhancement
- Creating and presenting demos of novel quantum algorithms and applications to various prospects
- Promoting Classiq’s brand and values within the Japanese quantum ecosystem as a Classiq’s evangelist
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Physics, Math, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with quantum information, quantum software engineering, or quantum algorithms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical support, troubleshooting, and project management skills
- Full proficiency in Korean as well as English.
- Advantage: Proficiency in Python programming
- Ability to work independently and remotely
