About the Role
The position is essential for overseeing the entire forecast planning process and managing sales data.
1. Demand & Sales Planning
- Collaborate with Sales to achieve business targets; lead weekly/monthly meetings.
- Drive IBP cycle, incorporate business strategy, and develop an 18-month rolling demand forecast (baseline, promotion, seasonality).
- Consolidate and analyze sell-in/sell-out data; generate regular sales reports and monitor for anomalies.
- Develop demand/supply consensus process and manage KPIs (forecast accuracy, MAPE).
2. Portfolio & Inventory Management
- Manage product portfolio and inventory targets (including business analysis, safety stock settings).
- Oversee product lifecycle management (NPI, phase-in/out, EOL).
- Optimize inventory and assets in collaboration with SCM team.
3. Supply & Risk Management
- Identify and mitigate supply risks and gaps with supply/commercial teams.
- Monitor supply status and support smooth business operations linked to production planning.
4. Data Management & Systems
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of sales/demand data.
- Operate and troubleshoot systems (e.g., SAP) as needed.
5. Communication & Reporting
- Proactively communicate forecasts, business plans, and risks/opportunities with leadership, Finance, and Marketing.
- Co-lead budget and business plan processes with related teams.
About You
Skills
- Excellent analytical capabilities, logical & strategical thinking, effective communication skill including English proficiency.
- Knowledge and experience on 1) demand forecasting and planning processes and 2) End to End supply planning & processes
- Deep knowledge on Business, Supply Chain and be fluent in Finance language
- Knowledge and experience with SAP or ERP system
- Knowledge on MS office and other relevant software for forecasting & supply process.
Experience
- Track record on multi-cultural dynamic environments where he or she played a major role on implementing changes.
- Strong leadership and responsivity, follow-through, results driven attitude.
- Experience of running S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process with Multi-functions and Managements.
- Hands-on, down to earth profile & experience in Supply Chain Management
- Experience & knowledge on overall supply chain in manufacturer POV and customer (retailer’s) supply chain.
- Preferred to have minimum 5 years to 10 years’ experience in Demand/Sales planning
- Experience on Retail planning, store allocation and E-commerce planning knowledge will be a plus
- People management skill & experience.
