ABOUT THE ROLE
Compal is a leading innovator dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technology and delivering advanced solutions to our clients. We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled individual to drive sales and marketing initiatives for our advanced technology solutions in the automotive, industrial, commercial, and drone sectors. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between engineering and customers, ensuring that our product capabilities are well understood, positioned, and aligned with customer needs as well as a great track record in sales, market creation and expansion, and client relationship management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape business strategies, build partnerships, and create new revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the automotive, industrial, commercial and Drone for our advanced Infrared Technology Systems, including OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
· Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
· Identify customer requirements and help translate them into technical solutions.
· Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and on-site visits.
· Lead or support RFI/RFQ processes, including technical proposal creation and BOM pricing strategies.
· Provide customer feedback to internal global engineering and product management teams for roadmap alignment.
· Collaborate with global engineering teams to develop and validate customer solutions where necessary.
· Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals, leveraging market insights and competitor analysis.
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends, challenges, and innovations to provide valuable insights to clients and develop targeted business strategies.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, and operations, to create customized solutions and expand partnerships with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
· Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential clients, ensuring favorable terms and mutually beneficial agreements.
· Provide regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, market trends, and client feedback to senior management.
· Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network, generate leads, and promote the company’s products and services.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
· Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in the automotive industry (OEMs, Tier 1, 2 suppliers, or related sectors).
· Strong understanding of the automotive/ industrial/ commercial/ drone, etc. market, trends, challenges, and technologies.
· Proven ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close deals effectively.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with the ability to present complex information clearly and confidently to clients and stakeholders.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify client needs and deliver innovative solutions.
· Willingness to travel as required to meet clients, attend industry events, and explore new business opportunities.

· Self-motivated, results-driven, and proactive in seeking new business opportunities.
· Strong team player who can collaborate effectively across multiple departments globally.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· Familiarity with thermal infrared systems and algorithms are a plus.
