In the Customer Service & Support (CSS) team we are looking for people with a passion for delivering customer success. As a Senior Technical Support Engineer, you will own, troubleshoot and solve complex customer technical issues. Responsibilities
• Response and Resolution: You own, investigate, and solve complex customer technical issues and act as an advisor to the customer, collaborating within and across teams and leveraging troubleshooting tools and practices.
• Readiness: You lead in building communities with peer delivery roles and share your knowledge through readiness programs, technical coaching and mentoring of others.
• You deepen your technical and professional proficiency to enable you to resolve complex customer issues, through training and readiness.
• Product/Process Improvement: You engage with Microsoft Engineering/ Supportability teams to investigate potential product defects and help develop automation techniques and diagnostic tools driving Microsoft product improvements.
Qualifications
Required Qualification
5+ years technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT).
Preferred Qualifications
We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about data, cloud technologies, and solving complex technical challenges. The ideal candidate will have a combination of strong technical expertise and collaboration skills.
Technical Skills:
- Ability to resolve technical blockers and collaborate effectively with engineering teams to troubleshoot and improve product experience.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Analytics Portfolio:
- Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Data Warehouse, Real-time Intelligence, Power BI, Copilot)
- Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL DB, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C#, Python, or Java)
- Experience with one or more Big Data or Analytics technologies: Hadoop, Apache Spark, Hive, Databricks
- Conceptual understanding of cloud architecture (Azure, AWS, or other SaaS-based platforms)
- Data engineering experience, including ETL/ELT pipelines, Delta Lakehouse, Unity Catalog, and Data Governance
- Familiarity with open-source ecosystems (e.g., Apache projects)
- Basic knowledge of networking, Windows, and Linux
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with a track record of cross-team collaboration
- Fast learner with adaptability and a team-oriented mindset
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting abilities
Language Qualification
- Korean Language: fluent in reading, writing and speaking.
- English Language: confident in reading, writing and speaking.
