Role Overview
As Strategic Talent Partner, you will act as a strategic advisor to Coupang Play organization, closely partnering with leaders to shape and execute people strategies that fuel business success.
You will own end-to-end performance management supported by HR CoE team, ensuring it drives accountability, engagement, and results. Beyond strategy, you will also manage key HR processes and operations – ensuring they flow effectively, stay aligned with company guidelines, and contributes positively to the overall employee experience.
This role is also about delivering customized HR programs tailored to the unique business’ needs – across talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness. You will help cultivate a work environment grounded in smart execution, focus, and prioritization, inspiring teams to work better – not just harder.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive high-impact talent reviews: Align talent discussions with business goals, focusing on readiness, gaps and redeployment agility.
- Provide business-aligned HR solutions including but not limited to overall HR process, talent management, compensation, and employee engagement collaborating with HR CoE teams.
- Enable retention of top performers in a high-demand environment: Proactively identify key talent and embed retention strategies tailored to accelerated career path and business impact.
- Manage executive employee relations issues with collaboration of Legal, ER and Compliance.
- Ensure seamless execution of core HR operations.
Qualifications
- Good understanding on general HR practices in recruitment, compensation/benefits, talent management, performance management and learning and development.
- Possess strong communication, persuasion and influencing skills to all levels of employees.
- Effectively work with senior leaders with good coaching and analytical skills.
- Sr. HRBP or HR Manager experience preferably at MNCs and/or large corporations.
- English proficiency in both written and spoken
