The Supply Planning Team, organized by Division, serves as the Business Unit’s (BU) single point of contact and advocate for all supply-related matters. This team is responsible for proposing and maintaining internal and external inventory targets/build categories in balance with service level targets. This team coordinates allocation and EOL processes and works with the Demand and Capacity Planning team to constrain the URDP during the S&OP process. Along with the Demand Team, Supply and Inventory Planner is responsible for creating “the plan” (CRDP). They are responsible for their end-to-end supply chain and working with any teams required to remove and resolve issues.

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management (SCM) or a related field.
- A minimum of 12+ years of experience in complex supply chain planning organizations. Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in inventory control and management
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools. Experience in JDA/BY planning systems in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
- Serve as the BU supply interface and coordinate with demand planning counterparts to ensure that CRDP and URDP remain aligned.
- Manage the Iron Triangle – balancing service level, forecast accuracy (loadings and utilization) [HY1] [TC2] [KC3] , and inventory.
- Oversee wafer starts and make final decisions on starts.
- Plan, manage, and set targets for inventory and build category.
- Coordinate the allocation process (BUs make decisions) by suggesting an allocation based on BU strategy, setting up allocation in planning systems and monitoring allocation performance until closed.
- Execute product transfers per BU, manage suggested EOL devices.
- Drive strategic builds and factory filler.
- Manage lead time by providing recommendation based on system calculated LT, Market trends and coordinate with BU to gather decisions what gets published to market.
- Provide BOQ supply input/coordination, advocate for BU and drive supply reviews and PAL2 and Division levels.
- Work with procurement and external manufacturing on negotiations (or re-negotiations) for external capacity.
