Job Title: Senior Merchandiser
Department: Merchandise Planning
Reporting to: Country Manager, Korea
Type : 1 year Contract(Maternity Cover)
Role Purpose: Support the merchandise planning department in daily operations tasks and OTB process
What you will do
- Prepare all reports which including sales and merchandising forecasts, sales analysis, weekly sell-thru, re-orders and OTB sheets
- Implement and manage a detailed store selling report to analyse weekly sales thereby giving an ability to react more quickly
- Running Weekly Sell Thru Reports for all categories for manager’s review
- Assist the manager to identify and recommend opportunities to improve sales performance through stock transfers or reorders
- Coordinate with Finance on quarterly budgeting to forecast net sales and monitor discount rates
- Manage the stock holding of continuative and seasonal product
- Work with manager to forecast sales and inventory on a monthly basis by SKU for all continuative products
- Advise manager on managing plans for stock levels; react to change/demand and logistics, reorders, cancellations, redirections and transfers
- Work closely with Finance and IT on sales data validation and maintenance
- Any ad hoc tasks as assigned
You need to have
- At least 4-5 years relevant experience in luxury retail industry
- Have highly developed and proven analytical skills
- Preferably with SAP knowledge
- Excellent in MS Excel and Powerpoint. Familiar with vlookup, Macros is a must
- Good communications and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge in shoes & accessories will be an definite advantage
- Good command of written and spoken English and one Asian language is preferred
- Must speaking Korean
- have right to work in Seoul
